Quality Control Specialist at Flügger

We are looking for a Quality Control Specialist to join our team on a temporary basis and help ensure the highest standards across our raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods.
Our team
The Team in Sweden supports our three Swedish sites: Bollebygd, Bankeryd og Bodafors. In our team we have a Quality Specialist, a Quality Controller, two Health & Safety Specialists, and one QHSE Supervisor/Environmental Specialist. We are working closely together within the Team but also closely with our Colleagues in Denmark and Poland.
We have a good Team spirit, helping each other both in our daily work and as a sparring partner when needed. Due to our different personalities, we are able to share different views on tasks and have a great time while doing so. Together we are enabling businesses, solving problems, and securing a safety culture for ourselves and our coworkers within the company.
Your role
As our Quality Control Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving product quality. You will act as a gatekeeper for product release, perform microbiological testing, investigate deviations, and support production performance with a focus on Right First Time (RFT).
This is a hands-on role where analytical thinking, collaboration, and a proactive mindset are essential.
Your responsibilities will be:
Quality Control & Laboratory Work
- Perform quality control of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods
- Conduct microbiological testing
- Ensure non-conforming goods are not released
- Perform instrument calibration and maintenance
Analysis & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze production quality results, including Right First Time (RFT)
- Investigate deviations and complaints
- Perform root cause analysis (e.g., 8D, 5 Why)
- Support reduction of scrap, waste, and internal deviations
Your Profile
We expect you to have some experience with quality control. Experience in a production or manufacturing environment is an advantage.
You are:
- Open-minded with strong collaboration skill
- Structured and detail-oriented
- Self-motivated and flexible an able to drive daily operations independently
You have:
- Basic knowledge of laboratory methods
- Basic understanding of quality control processes
- Knowledge of cleaning and hygiene in production environments
