Purpose

The Supply Chain Planning team is responsible for transforming and driving a complex end-to-end supply chain from a planning point of view. This encompasses managing demand, supply, production, warehousing, inventories, and distribution planning, and developing systems, processes, and people to ensure optimal customer service levels at effective capacity and capital utilization. 

Areas of responsibility

You will be responsible for the end-to-end planning of your own product portfolio with a lot of cross-functional teamwork. You will report directly to the Head of Supply Chain Planning and join a team consisting of three End-to-End planners, a Supply Chain analyst and two Master Data specialists. 

Your main areas of responsibility will be: 

•    Run the end-to-end collaborative demand planning process on a 12-month horizon across all sales divisions
•    Collaborate with Commercial to understand the sales demand plan, challenge assumptions, drive root cause analyzes to understand error in prior periods and highlight inconsistencies while connecting volume planning to financial plans
•    Manage product transitions of phase-in and phase-out items for the entire channel
•    Translate monthly forecast to executable and effective supply planning according to the specified agreed guidelines with production
•    Maintain and optimize stock levels
•    Support the design, development, and implementation of planning process improvements

Your qualifications

To join our Supply Chain Planning team, we are looking for a person with experience within Supply Chain Planning who has a continuous hunger to learn, grow and create results. We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills, great attention to detail, and with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The ideal candidate is a good networker, a team player and has the ability to collaborate well with stakeholders.

 

•    Min. 5 years of solid experience working within Supply Chain Planning, Purchasing, Production or Logistics
•    A relevant university degree within e.g. Supply Chain Management, Management Engineering, Economics and Business Management or similar 
•    Experience from retail or FMCG industry is a plus
•    Super user in the Microsoft Office package incl. Excel and PowerPoint
•    Analytical skills and the ability to communicate findings in a relevant and persuasive manner
•    A structured mind with a flair for complexity reduction and logical reasoning
•    A solution orientation that strives to find actions to overcome obstacles
