We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to take responsibility for strategically important product categories within decorative coatings. The role combines strong commercial accountability with the opportunity to shape product direction, drive innovation, and create impact across multiple markets. 

You will step into an established role with broad stakeholder exposure and a clear mandate to turn customer and market insights into strong, sustainable product assortments.

Your role

As Product Manager, you will have end-to-end responsibility for selected product categories within decorative coatings - primarily exterior categories for wood, masonry and metal - in close collaboration with cross-functional areas such as Commercial & Product Sustainability. 

 

You will play a key role in shaping category strategies, driving innovation initiatives, and ensuring that product decisions support both customer value and commercial performance. 

 

Your key responsibilities include: 

  • Defining and driving category strategies and product roadmaps based on customer, market, and competitive insights 
  • Leading new product development initiatives, including business cases, prioritization, and cross-functional project management 
  • Owning go-to-market planning and execution, including positioning, documentation, and product training 
  • Managing the product lifecycle using data and KPIs such as profitability, stock turnover, and customer fit. 

Your profile

You are an experienced Product Manager who combines product understanding with solid commercial awareness. You enjoy working end-to-end with product portfolios, using data to support decisions and collaborating closely with Commercial, R&D, Procurement, and Production to deliver strong results. 
Experience from the paint or construction industry is considered an advantage. 

 

You bring: 

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management within a vertically integrated organization  
  • Strong business and commercial understanding, with a clear focus on profitability and customer value 
  • Solid analytical skills and confidence working with data to drive decisions 
  • Experience managing structured product portfolios and complex, cross-functional initiatives 
  • The ability to lead, stay resilient, and move initiatives forward in a dynamic environment 
  • Fluency in a Nordic languages and English (English is the primary written language).
