The timing of joining Flügger as Head of Brand couldn’t be more exciting (if we do say so ourselves). We have just launched our new strategy “Flügger Organic” which has Brand and branded business development as some of the central elements. That makes your work as Head of Brand a strategic priority. As a result, your contribution will be clear and your impact visible for the customer experience and business development in Flügger.
The Team
In this role you will be reporting directly to the CEO of Flügger group.
You will lead an entrepreneurial and creative team consisting of Head of Design (a team of 5), Head of Creatives (a team of 4), Campaign Manager, and Head of VM & Store Design. The team understands the power of paints and colours to preserve, transform and inspire. And so, the everyday tasks are directed towards enabling the creation of beautiful and sustainable spaces inside and outside.
What you will do:
Provide Strategic Brand Direction:
- Lead the strategic brand direction and support the CEO and management team, using your insights and expertise to guide our brand towards success. This includes setting brand priorities and allocating resources effectively.
- Chair the Brand Board with cross-functional stakeholders. A board you will also need to establish.
Brand execution & cross-functional collaboration:
- Enhance Flügger brand’s presence and value in key markets and segments with strategies that make our brand stand out and create demand within our different customer segments.
- Lead and execute major, cross-country brand and tactical campaigns, collaborating closely with Commercial and Finance to track effectiveness and efficiency.
- Partner up with relevant teams to optimize customer journeys and local marketing efforts, enhance customer engagement, and embed the brand in the organizational culture.
Commercial & retail influence:
- Provide the commercial teams with the right tools, assets, and concepts.
- Steer and guide retail formats and Corporate Visual Identity.
- Cultivate and commercialize relationships and branded partnerships within key lifestyle segments (such as architects, interior designers, and the decorative industry)
- Guide and facilitate conceptualization in branded business development initiatives in collaboration with commercial and product functions
What we hope you will bring:
- Strong record in brand experience and management particularly in dynamic environments.
- Experience in branded business development and partnerships on products and/or services and/or collaborations (value propositions)
- Solid understanding of performance marketing and its impact on brand and business performance.
- Experience with business development, e.g. background within consultancy and/or commercially strong product management
- Customer centricity with a balance of creativity and practicality.
- Ability to put oneself in the shoes of both Consumers, Painters and Architects.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to champion the journey. Authenticity being a key word in both.
- Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, pragmatic environment.
- Experience with branded retail is a plus.
Fluency in either Danish or Swedish, and English is required for this role.
