Finance Business Partner

Requisition ID:  3942
City:  Gdańsk
Job Category:  Finance, Legal & IT(CF)

About us

Flügger is a Scandinavian paint company with a long history, strong values, and a very real commitment to quality - in our products, our work, and our people. We combine tradition with a modern approach: new markets, digital growth, and a focus on doing things smarter, not harder.
What does that mean in practice? A stable workplace, plenty of real challenges, and a culture where you can actually influence things.

Now we are looking for a Finance Business Partner who brings both numbers and personality to the table. This is a maternity cover role, but you won’t be “filling in” - you’ll be taking full ownership of your area, working closely with the business and having real impact from day one.

About the role

You’ll be the finance partner for our Polish market.  You will be the person managers turn to when they need clarity, numbers, or a reality check.

Your focus will be on:
•    Budgeting, forecasting, and P&L support
•    Providing clear reporting and insights that shape decisions
•    Helping managers understand performance and act on it
•    Spotting issues early and proposing practical solutions
•    Joining key local meetings and staying close to the business

About you

We would like to find someone who is curious, proactive, easy to work with and genuinely enjoys being a partner to the business. Besides that, we want you to have:
•    ~3 years of practical experience in FP&A, Controlling, Finance Partnering, or similar
•    Strong analytical and Excel skills (BI tools are a plus)
•    Ability to turn data into clear messages
•    Fluent English (daily use)
•    A positive personality — we genuinely care about hiring someone who fits the team

About the offer

•    Full-time employment on a substitute contract
•    Salary within a range of 8,500-10,500 PLN gross
•    Benefits package (sports cards, private medical care, vacation subsidies, group life insurance, employee discount for our products, Christmas gifts, employee parties)
•    Professional implementation program
•    Hybrid working model (up to 2 days per week working from home)
•    Flexible working hours
•    Flat organization
•    Great office facilities
•    Unlimited parking space
•    Fresh fruits and vegetables every day
•    Our own canteen
