Flügger Iceland is currently looking for a strong and forward-thinking Administration Manager to lead the company's office in Iceland. He will also be responsible for supply chain, finance and IT and technology for the company.
 

We are looking for a solution-oriented individual with the ability to work independently and create a positive working environment.
 

The employment rate is 100% and the starting date is by further agreement.
 

Main tasks and responsibilities

1) Office:
•    Overseeing finance and accounting in collaboration with HQ Flügger in Denmark
•    Approval of invoices and follow-up of cost control
•    Supervision of budget preparation in collaboration with the Country Manager
•    Responsibility for human resources in collaboration with Flügger's human resources team in Denmark and the Country Manager.


2) Supply chain:
•    Place orders for products from Flügger abroad and from other suppliers
•    Ensure inventory management in accordance with Flügger's policy and seasonal fluctuations
•    Update and make sales plans with the central purchasing department
•    Maintain and ensure correct product layout.


3) Payroll and time registration:
•    Ensure correct time registration in Tímon and review salary calculations for all employees
•    Payroll processing itself is done outside the company
•    Work on salary plans in collaboration with managers
•    Monitor salary costs and analyze deviations from plans in consultation with managers
•    Monitor changes in collective agreements and labor legislation.


4) Computer and technology:
•    In collaboration with Flügger IT, provide local assistance with computers and technology solutions
•    Manage and assist with the implementation of technology solutions
•    Manage cooperation between departments.

Educational and qualification requirements

•    University education that is useful in the job

•    Fluent in Icelandic and English (both written and spoken) – this is a mandatory requirement

•    Experience in the field of purchasing and product management is required
•    Very good general computer skills and numeracy are required
•    Professional work methods, organizational skills and cost awareness
•    Positive outlook on life and solution-oriented approach
•    Initiative, drive and strategic thinking
•    Very good oral and written Icelandic skills are required.
